Gardening – cleaner and greener

Our garden project is also proving to be a success. Ten gardens have already been laid and with expert instruction they are carefully cultivated and now bring in a good harvest. One resident wanted to hand his produce over to us and was very surprised when we said that he could keep everything he had grown. Off he went, rather confused, but clearly happy.

We have now been able to extend our project to the shacks (wooden houses with electricity). Gardens will also be laid here and cultivated for personal use.

Along with the garden project we have launched a competition for the best garden. First prize is a large bar of Swiss chocolate and 100 points that can be exchanged in the Recycling Shop.

We are gradually getting closer to our goal: Botrivier is becoming cleaner and greener!
